Meet Dr. Jason Gordon...

Jason Gordon's endeavors are a result of both his business background and his experience in the healing arts.  Jason holds a business degree from the University of Michigan, as well as two masters degrees: one in Acupuncture from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture; and one in Medical Qigong from the International Institute of Medical Qigong.  He has a doctorate degree in Chinese Medical Qigong from the Hennan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and graduated from the Herbal Studies program at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture. He graduated from the four-year healing science program at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, and is trained and licensed in several forms of bodywork and manual therapy, such as Craniosacral Therapy, myofascial release, structural reintegration, Shiatsu, Sotai, Tuina and others.

Medical Practice
Jason has maintained a clinical practice since 1998. He refers to his practice as inclusionary. By this he means that he includes all possibilities when approaching the customization of an Integrative Diagnosis and Treatment Strategy (IDATS™) with his patients. He believes that timing and circumstance are what should determine healthcare intervention and not medical prejudice or philosophical aversions. In his own training, Jason has been fortunate enough to study with many great masters and combines his experiences to integrate Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, energy medicine, supplementation, herbal medicine, nutrition, various forms of bodywork, Craniosacral Therapy, lifestyle counseling, psycho-spiritual counseling and group facilitation work. He enjoys collaborating with other healthcare practitioners as part of a team of providers oriented around the well being of their clients and patients.  Jason's clinic has seen everything from physical pain, migraines, TMJ, intestinal disorders, skin problems, allergies, MS, infertility, various forms of cancer, and kidney stones, to depression, anxiety, insomnia, ADD and many other challenges. Jason believes that healthcare is as much about finding greater vitality as it is about healing something we consider ill, and from this point of view, he sees many patients and clients whose focus is self cultivation and thriving in life.

Alchemical Courtyard & Alchemical Courtyard Foundation
Jason founded the Alchemical Courtyard in 2003 to provide a platform for people to explore the many facets of the human experience. Through education and exposure to life's multitude of practices, healing systems, philosophies and cultures, Alchemical Courtyard supports uncovering what speaks to each of us in order to live life on our own terms. The result is a life inspired by passion that thrives with vitality and wellness. At its best, Alchemical Courtyard provides health, healing, education and refuge to people looking for a greater state of wellness, as well as a deeper experience of themselves in the world.

Jason has also founded the Alchemical Courtyard Foundation with the intention to support and initiate projects that also provide health, healing, education and refuge. Additionally, Alchemical Courtyard Foundation provides business consultation services to start-up and young companies motivated by social and environmental responsibility.

Jason is a founding member and acting CEO of Soul Tavern, a plant-based gastropub in Miami Beach, Florida. Coltan is a commodity essential for making high-end capacitors, processors and other electronic equipment; and so too, Gombu Koko has instilled a cell phone recycling program to recycle the elements of Coltan (Tantalum and Niobium) used in making high-end electronics.

Jason is also the founder and acting president of {S}SENSE Consulting, a full service branding strategy, business consulting and creative design agency. {S}SENCE Consulting is the firm Jason uses to support the Alchemical Courtyard Foundation in supplying business consulting services to socially and environmentally responsible organizations that cannot afford them.
